Brief Description: Disconnect tail from fuse; final prep for perm att
Started by making the right side shim to go between the skin and the tail longeron, behind the fuselage. I then finished all the drilling of the rivet holes in the skin before disconnecting the tail section from the fuselage. I separated the two sections and dimpled/countersunk all the necessary skin holes. Finished by cleaning up all the chips and mess left by all the drilling. It was very hot today - well over 100 F - and I could only work out in the garage for 30 - 45 minutes at a time before having to go inside to cool off for awhile. It took most of the day but the time is the total of working minutes.
